How We do it
ADAPTIVEScrum is based on short iterative build cycles called “Sprints” that are usually 2 weeks in duration. Prior to the first sprint, the project team will conduct end user interviews and build a product backlog. The deliverable from these interviews are captured and turned into “User Stories”.

USER STORYUser stories are business requirements from the end user’s perspective. The User Story also contains the acceptance criteria as defined by the business. The Acceptance Criteria could be a list of fields needed to store customer information. The user story also contains the test cases needed by QA to determine if the software meets the acceptance criteria.

SPRINTSprint consists of Planning, Design, Development, Testing, Acceptance and Demonstration. We develop in increments, demonstrate it to the client and keep it moving. This allows for continuous improvement while reacting to the changing needs of the business as the project progress.

BACKLOG - Throughout the project, each member of the team will close out a task as soon as they are finished with the required work. Tasks/user stories left unfinished at the end of the sprint get pulled out of the sprint & added to a future sprint.
SCRUM SUCCESS PROJECT TEAM
Project Owner is held ultimately responsible for the project. From communicating with the client to prioritizing the Product Backlog, the project owner explains what needs to be done to the Team at the beginning of each Sprint and accepts the product from the Team at the end of each Sprint.
The Team consists of 3 players: Functional, Technical, & User Acceptance Trainer (UAT). The functional player is responsible for the build out of forms, fields, and entities. The Technical player is responsible for the creation of workflows, businesses rules, and JavaScript customization. The UAT player pulls it all together with Quality Assurance and trains End Users on application best practices.

Scrum Master makes sure that the Scrum process is being properly followed by all Team members and that all impediments are being escalated to the concerned parties and/or solved in a timely manner.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) is not necessarily part of the implementation Team. This individual is consulted, mostly by the Project Owner, whenever an advice is needed regarding a specific business topic.
